Dr. Brandee Zettel is the owner of Seeds of Hope Counseling LLC. In private practice, Brandee counsels couples and women daily with the heart and goal of leaving people with the hope that things can change for the better. As she works with a majority of Christian clients, her goal is to guide them toward Christ as their source of healing, growth, and purpose. Brandee also teaches counseling courses to college students and enjoys helping people learn and discover their gifts and passions. Over the last 20+ years, married to a military man, Brandee has moved around the country, lived overseas, and been a part of many churches. She has spent 15+ years working in church children's ministries, leading and attending women's bible study groups, teaching marriage topics to couples, and speaking to her church women's groups.

On a Spiritual Level
First and foremost, I am a follower of Christ. I believe God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three in one making up the Holy Trinity. I believe God is the creator of the world and man. I believe man is born into sin and Jesus is the only way to salvation. I believe the Bible is God's written Word. I believe I have been called to minister to and help those who are hurting. I am fulfilling this calling by way of my profession as a marriage and family therapist and professional counselor. My integration position is that it is wise for Christians to integrate psychology into their theology when it aligns with our faith. I apply this integration position to my work as a counselor and I believe it opens the door for the Holy Spirit to guide me and be at work during my sessions whether my clients are believers or not.
As a Christian counselor, I enjoy counseling Christian clients because God is the foundation at which we begin, and unlike many aspects of our human culture, He does not change. I believe that healing and joy are found in Christ. However, the ultimate goal is not happiness on Earth. The ultimate goal is an eternity in Heaven with our Creator.

On a Personal Level
Brandee has been married for 20+ years, and her husband is retired from the US Navy. She is a mother to three teenagers, and they keep her busy with lots of band and orchestra concerts. Her love language is quality time, and she enjoys traveling and sharing new experiences with family and friends. She loves coffee, chocolate, Chicago pizza, and tacos. Brandee also has a strong love for animals.
